Get With The Times

Get With The Times was The New York Times’s live event series for college students, dedicated to exploring some of the most provocative and timely issues that students face today. The series paired our top journalists with famous figures, who shared their stories with college students around the country and answered questions live.

Each event took place on a college campus and was broadcast to hundreds of watch parties hosted on other campuses across the country. 

With a small team, I conceptualized the event series with the goal of reaching a younger audience for The Times. I hired an agency partner to develop the branding and website. The event series was marketed through digital and print ads, social and on-site promotion at college campuses. I worked closely with students at each college to promote the events on their campuses. The events were broadcasted to watch parties across the country.
