Offstage: Opening Night

This virtual event for The Times highlighted the Spring 2020 Broadway shows that closed early or never had the chance to open. Journalists from across the Times spoke about their favorite moments of the season and the moments that they wish they got to see, the event included performances and interviews from Broadway stars along with a poignant conversation with black actors and industry professionals moderated by Wesley Morris. The event garnered 48,357 R.S.V.P.s and 56,881 live views on YouTube. 

The marketing campaign for the event included email, print, audio, paid social, influencer marketing, digital ads on nytimes.com and a partnership with Broadway Cares.
